Joshua Hayes invites you to his graduation recital!
“This 45-minute performance encompasses all the knowledge and skills I have developed throughout my time at WAAPA and blends it with a collection of original songs, classics and just a touch of feel-good funk. I personally draw inspiration from artists such as Stevie Wonder, D’Angelo and Allen Stone (among many, many others) and I hope you’ll hear their influence! - Josh”

Join Neil Marantan at the Rosemount Hotel for his WAAPA Graduation Recital, where he’ll showcase a blend of originals and covers influenced by artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, and Radiohead, as well as contemporary guitarists like Matteo Mancuso and Mark Lettieri. This performance marks the culmination of Neil’s four-year journey at WAAPA, celebrating the lessons and friendships he’s forged along the way. Expect a dynamic set ranging from blues-fusion and intimate ballads to classic rock. Come down to hear what Neil and his band have been creating for you!

After 18 years of dedication to the electric guitar, Miles invites you to join him for a special evening celebrating his WAAPA graduation recital. Over the past four years of his Contemporary Music degree, he has invested his heart and soul into refining his craft. He's thrilled to present a setlist that traverses the complexities of Progressive Metal, the virtuosity of Jazz Fusion and the attitude of Rock music. Join Miles in celebrating this significant milestone and experience firsthand the fruits of his hard work and devotion to music.

Shyanne Kelly - 7:05pm
| Up and coming artist Shyanne Kelly is a Perth Singer-Songwriter discovering the boundaries between Indie and Modern Pop. Her musical knowledge provides an explorative sound in her music as she breaks through into the Perth industry. Shyanne’s passion for music was established at a young age; and her zeal has drawn her to dedicate herself to musical studies, at John Curtin College of the Arts and now in her final year of the renowned Music Academy WAAPA. Her interest in storytelling through song is clearly demonstrated in her music as she draws comparisons to Taylor Swift and Lizzy McAlpine. Shyanne’s music will take you on a journey – whether it’s her story you hear, or reflections of your own, in her writing you can be sure that together you’ll be taken to new places, magical memories or to dreams of the days to come. Shyanne is most known for her entertaining and captivating performances as she strives to connect with her audience in authentic and personal way. With a passion for relating to those around her through her own experiences and contemplations, her music is easy to listen to, for music-lover of any age, all over the world throughout all seasons of life. |
