The group Rock Ko Fol was founded on March 14, 2009 in San Francisco, California. Although all members of the group are originally from different cities of ex-Yugoslavia, the game of life wanted the band to arise far from the original home.
At the beginning, Rock Ko Fol played only in the USA and the majority of the audience (90%) was made up of people who are also from the area of ex-Yugoslavia, but thanks to social networks already in 2012, the group went to (Europe) Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia for their first performances. Soon after that, concerts in other cities and countries were scheduled, for example: Serbia, Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Montenegro, Canada...
The music played by Rock Ko Fol could be classified as Rock, but with deep roots of ethnic Bosnian music (Sevdah). This combination of tradition and intense sound creates a very special style that brings to their performances a very diverse spectrum of different people who also listen to different types of music. What is also very interesting about this band is that it plays and interacts with people who belong to all three (majority) groups of ex-Yugoslavia. They are known to have disintegrated in 1992 in the conflict among themselves.
This band is the biggest ambassador of peace, coexistence, respect and love. Rock Ko Fol has been around for 14 years and is a successful band that plays all over the world today.
