Step into an evening of music with Giverny as she presents her graduation recital, a showcase of her artistic evolution. Over the past year, she has dedicated herself to creating a performance that reflects her true musical identity. With the support of an incredible band, Giverny will take you through a carefully curated setlist designed to stretch her boundaries and highlight the progress she’s made. Each song reflects the passion, creativity, and hard work she’s poured into her craft, offering both fun and challenging pieces. Olivia Grace - 8:05pm
Powerhouse vocalist Olivia Grace is an emerging talent in the world of jazz and contemporary music. Born and raised in Brisbane and now living in Perth, Olivia Grace is an exciting young vocalist with a wealth of performance experience. She has been a part of cabaret shows with Perth Cabaret Collective, performs in a duo with guitarist Spencer FinchShuckstes and has organised her own shows presented at the Ellington Jazz Club. During her time at West Australia Academy of Performing Arts, Olivia has been formally trained in both Jazz and Contemporary stylings and is regarded in the Perth music scene as an incredible vocal talent with a diverse range. Her studies have led her to blend the two styles together to create original music that tugs on all the right heartstrings and encapsulates those who hear her. Olivia Grace presents ‘Along the Way’ an impression of her musical journey, which has led her to this moment!
Maze Rose - 9:10pm
Maze Rose invites you to the Rosemount Hotel on November 13th for a heartfelt showcase of original music, celebrating their final performance of their WAAPA Bachelor’s degree. Drawing inspiration from AURORA, Marika Hackman, Florence + The Machine, and cinematic soundtracks, Maze fuses refined musicality with technology to create immersive soundscapes.
Starting out at the age of 11 as a vocalist with Opera Australia and a songwriter, Maze has built an extensive, award-winning catalogue in film and contemporary compositions. Proud to demonstrate both their vocal prowess and stories of their personal journey, they have written a set of music to reflect on their growth and exploration over the past four years at WAAPA.
Joining Maze on stage are the exceptional talents of Valentina Macias, Lucy Browning, Sarah Curran, Rose Torrisi, Luci Poy, Sasha Beech, Gem Addison, Hazel May, and Eleanor Edwards, as well as a choir comprised of some of their lovely friends they’ve met during their studies.
